BPSHI and SCA hosted a bhangra bash giving an open invitation to anyone who would like to join. Tickets were sold at the Memorial Union for $12 and the event itself was hosted at the ARC Pavillion. Dinner was served to the attending members and there were ghidda and dance performances done by the BPSHI and SCA group members as well.
Turban and Hijabathon was an event to spread awareness towards the Sikh and Muslim Religions and Cultural aspects. For every person who pledged to wear a Turban or Hijab, $5 were donated to the ASUCD pantry. As per calculations and agreements, MSA is donating $250 and we are donating $125 based on 50 hijabs and 25 turbans that were put on people.
